They waited patiently under the hot, glaring mid-morning sun. Relaxed and chatting quietly, each hoping to catch enough for their family’s dining table.
This is a photo that I took back in January 2015, whilst on holiday in Cyprus. Shooting directly into the sun, and for some reason I forgot to change the settings on my camera to allow for that. Consequently, it was somewhat overexposed and everything was rather washed out, with no sky whatsoever! But I hang on to all my photos, even the poor quality ones, as they are still often good to be turned into creative art pieces.
