Breaking Free

Something new and different for me! I have always loved sketches and painterly effects, so this was a bit of practice for me. Here, I used a beautiful public domain photo of two horses.

With this photo it took several layers to turn the photo into a sketch. Once I had done that and made adjustments to have it just how I wanted it to look, I added the frame, masking out parts I didn’t want. I then masked out the drawing effect from the whole picture, except from within the frame.
