The single bloom grew tall and straight, reaching out for the sun to warm its petals, and inviting the butterflies to alight on the golden petals.
I took the original photo of these flowers at The Butterfly Farm, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire, just before they closed down. Such a lovely place and so sad that it closed. A great loss to the area. The flowers were just screaming out to me to be painted!
