Every year, here in Fuerteventura, they hold a kite festival, and the skies above the sand dunes of La Oliva come alive with kites of all different shapes, sizes and colours. A wonderful spectical! Our first visit was in 2017, when I took this photo of a clown kite flying high in the sky. The sky was a beautiful clear blue, although the remnants of a calima left the distant mountains somewhat hazy.
