Betancuria, Fuerteventura

In this quiet and lovely place, surrounded by nature, I feel my soul is at peace
For years an old Nikon D70 camera sat in our cupboard, totally unused. But this wasn’t just a normal camera, it had been converted to infrared. It had sat in our cupboard purely because we didn’t know how to use it! However, over the last few weeks I have been learning about it, and the other weekend we took a trip up into the mountains to a beautiful village, Betancuria, and I took photos with both my normal camera and my infrared. This is one of the infrared results. The original photo, straight out of the camera, comes out pink when infrared. You then have to adjust balances, colour profile, adjust tones and colours.
