Convento de San Buenaventura
“If I had wings to fly, I would soar to the very highest point to break the blanket of those clouds, which sleep beneath the holy sky”
High in the mountains lies the beautiful town of Betancuria, once the capital of Fuerteventura. Just outside the town are the ruins of an ancient convent, the Convento de San Buenaventura. All that is left are the walls, and it’s now the home of beautiful plants and birds nesting in the walls.
It is so beautiful there, and the place gives off such a serene atmosphere. It would be my perfect place to live were I younger and in good health!
